5. Remote commissioning

GridVolt can assist with commissioning remotely once the gateway has been installed, powered on, connected to the network, and connected to the site assets.

Before contacting GridVolt

Confirm that:

The gateway is powered on.
The network connection is available.
The gateway is connected to the expected site assets.
You can access the equipment and connections while speaking with GridVolt.

What happens during commissioning

GridVolt will remotely check the gateway connection, confirm that the expected assets can be seen, and review the data received from the site. The installer may be asked to check status indicators, confirm values shown locally, or adjust a physical connection.

GridVolt will confirm when remote checks are complete and identify any remaining actions.
