3. Install the gateway

The installer is responsible for securely installing the GridVolt gateway and connecting it to the equipment identified in the site design.

Installation sequence

1. Confirm the gateway identity (GridVolt ID on gateway sticker).
2. Mount the gateway in the agreed location using the attached DIN-rail clips.
3. Connect 24V power using the supplied 24V or other power supply.
4. Connect the gateway to each site asset according to the relevant device guide.
5. Connect the planned network interface.
6. Inspect the installation and power on the gateway.

Next steps

When the gateway is online, contact GridVolt to begin remote commissioning. Remain on site in case GridVolt asks you to check or adjust a physical connection.
